Well i ususally like your posts and i'm even about to purchase your course package, but today i read something in your post that i didn't like and i think it's a mistake and you're gonna correct it, aren't you?

Here it is: "I simply believe that profit is the only way to pay the bills and is the only tangible entity that a buyer will ultimately extract from a business".

No one can pay the bills with profits as far as i know, but well with the operating cash flow or cash flow in general. The idea of a business paying its bills with it's profits doesn't ring well in my ears. No one can touch a business profits, but we can touch its cash flow.

What do you think?

Thanks, have a great day!

Business for sale

it is in deed a good post. It is my first time to drop by your site and I was surprise to read good articles here. It really help many people before they got to decide to which step he/she will take first before getting into a business or a career.

Klemm

I think the author is referring to profits paying the owner's personal bills, not the business bills.

FROM RICHARD: Klemm, I am not at all sure what you are referring to exactly so I welcome your input to elaborate on what you mean.

Business For Sale

The best way to determine a business's value is to work backwards from the available profits that a seller can prove.
